Chanel Johnson is a former senior software engineer at Meta (2020-2025) now working in
venture capital. She is a Venture Fellow at Rarebreed Ventures, a Venture Scout and deal
sourcer for The Council, an Associate Deal Lead at Girl Math Capital, and a Venture Fellow
in Laconia's Venture Cooperative (Cohort 26). She is a member of GoingVC Cohort 19 and a
full-tuition scholarship recipient at VC University (NVCA / Venture Forward). B.A. Computer
